As you might expect from a large city with a reputation like that of Munich, there is a good range of accommodation options to choose from in the city. From top-of-the-range hotels to more modest hostels and lodgings, there is something for any budget.
Hotels In Munich
Many of the city centre hotels can be found on the streets south of the central railway station, around Schillerstrasser. Many of the larger hotel chains are represented, but there is also a good selection of independently run accommodation easily available. Bookings can be made online for most of the big hotels, which can offer the usual range of single- and double-rooms and suites, many with modern facilities.
Comfortable hotel rooms can also be found slightly away from the city centre, and there are good options to be found in areas around the English Garden and even further afield.

A number of agencies offer apartment rental to suit various business and leisure needs in and around Munich. These range from overnight to long-stay occupancy, whether for a single room or for a larger group booking. Searches and bookings can be made online, and service is frequently offered in English as well as in German.
Hostels and Camping In Munich
As with the more expensive accommodation, hostels and youth hostels in Munich can be booked online in advance. Hostels are mostly located in the city centre, near the central railway station. There is also a range of camping alternatives throughout the city, usually easily accessible by public transport.
